Here are a few more pics from my trip to Nuuk! Here are a few more pics from my trip to Nuuk! The last week in Nuuk, my friend Tonje Eliasson came to stay. Tonje is a journalist and a photographer based in Copenhagen. We are working on some exciting projects which hopefully will bring us back to Greenland soon. Thanks to Kulturkontakt Nord and The Royal Norwegian Embassy for making this trip possible! POLKA POLKAGreetings from Nuuk, Greenland! I've been here for a few weeks to write some new Stina Stjern stuff. The next album will be very much inspired by the fact that my Grandfather was a hunter in Northeast Greenland in 1954/1955. He was then in his mid twenties. He lived alone in the ice with his sledge dogs, shooting polar bears. The cabin where he lived was, and still is, located at Kap Herschell. I'm planning on going there, but that is an adventure that has to wait for now... Nuuk was therefore the closest I could get the exciting tales of the young hunter at this point! It's been inspiring indeed and a few new songs just sprung out of the wonderful mix of icebergs and polka dancing! (I actually can't get enough of this Polka dancing...) Adam & Eva summer partyStina Stjern at Musikkfest, OsloFree show in Oslo

![]() POCKNIT-Knit from the north![]() Please check out this brand new design, Pocknit! I'm so getting one of these lovely scarves! Goes well with my song Tuning don't you think? Moving sale!
Guess what! Early next year I am moving to Oslo, Norway. I therefore figured it would be more fun to have a moving sale instead of dragging a little pile of vinyl records all the way from Copenhagen to Oslo. I am therefore selling my vinyl of Days Like Ways for € 15. The price includes shipping (world wide). The offer is for a limited time only (as I am not moving forever), so be quick. Click here and go mad!
